Where are Lansdowne’s assets?

Lansdowne holds acreage, with a large 3D seismic database, in the shallow water North Celtic Sea Basin, off the south coast of Ireland. Lansdowne held a 20% share in the Barryroe Field, where the 48/24-10z appraisal well tested light waxy oil (43 degree API) at a rate of 3,514 bopd from the Lower Cretaceous Basal Wealden sand. Lansdowne’s share of 2C recoverable resources in Barryroe is 69 MMBOE. There is additional exploration and appraisal potential in other sands within the Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic sections.
An application for a Lease Undertaking for Barryroe to allow for further appraisal and expected development, was submitted in April 2021.
On 19 May 2023 a letter was received from DECC advising that Eamon Ryan, the Minister, would not grant the Lease Undertaking.
On 28 June 2023 the Company announced that its legal advisors had submitted a letter giving notice under the Energy Charter Treaty (“ECT”) seeking compensation.
